We work every day to design, develop and produce sustainable packaging that responds more and more to the ecodesign standards We have successfully created and launched a new paper shopping bag for large-scale distribution and retailers that guarantees resistance up to 21 kg load and durability up to 50 uses, characteristics that make it the most sustainable alternative to polypropylene shopping bags. Following a deep analysis on markets and user habits and thanks to the cooperation with Billerud paper mill, we have resulted in an innovative shopping bag fully produced in FibreForm® a new material 100% paper, FSC® C015302 certified, available in brown and white, the best alternative to plastic in terms of resistance and durability. The groundbreaking plastic free shopping bag is fully recyclable, renewable and biodegradable while offering the same dimensions and the same protective and loading properties as the plastic shopping bags. This new packaging solution will support the GDO and retailer’s sustainability goals of reducing plastic and CO2 emissions and helps them in education of consumers in choosing a real sustainable material.
