Fiorini International launches the project to extend its production site to support its organic growth on international markets with the acquisition of a large parcel of land. The production building and the offices have been supported over the years by functional facilities as the automated warehouse: 2024 marked the beginning of the construction of a new plant of approximately 28,000 square meters, whose foundation and building works are already in progress and visible. The environmental sustainability of the new structure, which is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified, is one of the primary assets of the project, which will see the enhancement of the photovoltaic systems, the addition of community facilities and green areas to improve well-being and the engagement to a sustainable lifestyle. The whole production district, together with a new forest area, will be decisive in the company’s growth strategy: the benefits will result in new job opportunities and specialised careers, especially for young people. There are many actions already implemented for sustainability, designed to improve the well-being of people and the environment, such as the car-pooling incentive that optimises mobility, reducing traffic, pollution and improving people’s quality of life.
